Initially, the check-in person was not friendly I think because we booked online but then a different guy gave us wine and we stayed with our children and we all had a great time

Staff was less than friendly or interested that I was a guest. Hotel is TIRED and rundown. The room (718) had poor lighting and the shower controls were broken. Either hot or cold as you could not control the water temperature accurately. The roof top server and restaurant servers were very nice, friendly and helpful. They can teach the hotel desk staff a few things!

Although we did not receive any VIP services. We really like this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room the first night was very noisy. We could hear the street noise even though we were on 11th floor. They switched us with no issues and th second night was much more peaceful. Also the layout of the second room was much better. So just FYI room layouts seem to vary.

We had a lovely stay. The room was spotless, very spacious, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Would definitely recommend.

Old and dated rooms, and roof top which is the main reason for staying there was closed for private events evert day, and gym is dated and way to small.

Decent hotel and nice rooftop but terribly noisy Paid more for the Atelier room, but value not that great. Biggest issue and disappointment was the horrendous noise from the streets - the windows were evidently not effectively glazed and thus I could hear everything outside and my sleep was awful as a result. They have to sort out the noise prevention with upgrading the windows.

We used to like staying here but unfortunately we won't be back. They have no one to help with your luggage, no front door person or if they do they were not there. And even when we left they front desk gentleman that wasn't helping anyone else as the lobby was completely empty, when we departed left us to deal with all 4 pieces on our own and didn't even offer to open the door. Toilet was running the entire time as well. The hotel is clean, the amenities in the room are nice but there is no security, no door man, no luggage person that was available, and so we won't be going back.
